Co-founder and co-client of the Bermuda studios — winners of the Première Œuvre 2021 prize (Équerre d'Argent). Engineering for exhibited artworks, where artists and architecture meet.
Manifesto
I design and deploy artificial intelligence systems — multi-agent architectures, automation, serverless products. Alongside that, I co-founded award-winning art spaces and artistic collaborations. Two disciplines, one standard: turning an intention into reality.

Multi-agent AI · product · automation
From design to production of intelligent systems: multi-agent pipelines, large-scale automation, serverless backends. From the first scoping session to delivery, with full ownership.
An EPITECH engineer (AI & product) AND co-founder of an award-winning contemporary art space. Technology as creative material, art as an engineering field.
Software development company. Full-ownership mindset, from idea to deployment.
Technological artwork created with artist Max Bondu for the Open Arts Foundation's 2015 Curatorial Program (Plovdiv) — autonomous artificial intelligences play chess against each other, a commentary on machine consciousness. Exhibited at the Centre Pompidou.
Computational analysis of 35 years of films screened at the Kosmos cinema (Plovdiv) to extract their dominant screen colour: #282320, obtained after two weeks of server computation, co-created with artist Max Bondu. Exhibited at Halle Nord (Geneva) and Kino KOCMOC (Plovdiv).
Fourth edition of Monstrare Camp (a collective initiative founded in Brest in 2007), hosted at the Chapelle Jeanne d'Arc in Thouars in dialogue with the Dampierre tuffeau quarry — shared materiality and telluric forces between the two sites, with a live video link between chapel and quarry. Some forty artists took part, including Julien Griffit.
Collective research session on astronomy and the search for extraterrestrial life, organised by Enough Room for Space at ISELP (Brussels).
The only non-artist in the founding team, a bridge between contemporary art and technology. The association was founded in 2016; construction of the building began in 2018.
~1,300 m² self-built with architecture studio ACTM · ~4 years of construction as co-client · opened in 2022.
Technical design of an installation with artist Maarten Vanden Eynde — “Artefact: This Rare Earth — Stories from Below”, part of the Uncertainty Scenarios project (Enough Room for Space).
Crypto price-spread scanner across four exchanges (Kraken, Binance, Bybit, KuCoin) on 20 major pairs, with configurable alerts — a pure visualisation tool: no order execution, no deposits.
Collective award (French architecture prize, first-work category): SCI Bermuda partners (including J. Griffit, co-client) × ACTM studio. Ceremony at Station F, 22 Nov. 2021.
Research collective on clouds (with Tiphaine Abenia, Max Bondu, Myriam Treiber, Uri Wegman) — residencies at Bermuda (2021, 2022). Sub-work “Contentious Sky” (Lugano, 2022): an apprentice AI robot interprets atmospheric fluctuations and draws them dot by dot on a dot-matrix printer.
Sub-work of Truant School, selected by the Istituto Internazionale di Architettura for the Swiss Landscape Biennale — theme “(non) finito”, Lugano. Magnolia grandiflora, camera, algorithm, dot-matrix printer & paper.
Artwork by Max Bondu & Simon Ripoll-Hurier: 3,926 phonemes beamed to the Moon by radio bounce (station HB9Q, received in the Jura), then a combinatorial calculator on a blockchain — designed and activated by J. Griffit — endlessly recombines these sounds into new sequences. Exhibited at URDLA.
A manual process rebuilt as a chain of n8n automations (CRM, communications, reporting). ~200 h/year saved · ~99% reliability.
Rust TUI player for Mixcloud and SoundCloud: vim keybindings, spectrum analyser, media keys — a standalone binary with no mpv, yt-dlp or Python. Published on crates.io and npm, with CI.
Generates CVs tailored to a job offer (parsed or typed in), under a strict honesty constraint: never a fabricated skill missing from the original CV. Several templates (Helvetia, Cervin, Dufour).
Internal production cockpit for an AI agency: turns a client brief into deliverables (business plan, branding, deployed website, automations) through a hybrid chain of deterministic code + AI agents, with a mandatory human checkpoint before delivery. Internal tool, never client-facing.
GNOME Shell extension bringing macOS-style accents: long-press a letter, pick from a popup of accented variants, insert into any field. No daemon, no root access, no dependencies — GNOME 50 / Wayland.
Installable PWA: precision tuner based on autocorrelation (Peterson StroboPlus-style strobe band) and a chord coach for guitar.
A personal AI assistant on the wrist: biometric state (Amazfit / ZeppOS) drives the calendar, home automation (Home Assistant) and an AI assistant (Claude / Whisper) via n8n.
Self-contained, white-label Firebase module that automates a LinkedIn outreach campaign: prospect search, invitations and DMs, AI classification of reply intent, scheduled follow-ups, React admin dashboard.
